Round the back of the shop was the workshop where milk churns and similar containers were made by the two tinsmiths (or tinkers as they were commonly known). On the right stands Joe Berry with Jim Braid in the centre and Mr. Rothwell in the doorway. Mr. Berry continued working for the business when Tom Pollard took it over and served in the shop until he retired.
